The 2026 One Year Goal

Buildings don’t transform lives.
Strategies don’t transform lives.
Programs don’t transform lives.

God transforms people.
And He does it through people.

None of our 10-year vision happens without individual spiritual transformation that leads to gospel saturation.

So as we move toward this 10-year vision, we’re asking every Southbridger to grab hold of one clear goal this year.

TO WORK TOWARDS ACCOMPLISHING OUR VISION,
EVERY SOUTHBRIDGER WILL TAKE A RISK BY HAVING,
AT LEAST ONE GOSPEL CONVERSATION
BEYOND THE WALLS OF THE CHURCH IN  2026.

FAQs

1. A conversation with a friend, neighbor, family member, or even a stranger that happens beyond the walls of the church, where you have the opportunity to clearly share the Gospel as definedby 1 Corinthians 15. Sharing your personal testimony (how the Gospel has changed your life) is a great bridge to the gospel.

2. Examples of what doesn’t count?
     • Slipping the gospel, or your story, into a group presentation
     • Preaching on a street corner
     • Handing out church invitations
*Please note, these are good activities, but are not what we would consider a “gospel conversation beyond the walls”.

Not at all! We want to have as many gospel conversations as possible.

No, but we encourage you to be a member if you call Southbridge your church home.

That’s okay. What is important is to be honest about not being sure, and then seek the answers from people who might have them, and then take them back for a follow-up conversation.

Great, ask them if they attend church somewhere, and if they are in a discipleship relationship with someone.

Point them to our equipping process, periodic trainings, and resources on the website.

  1. There are so many outcomes to this: one extreme is rejection, and the other is that they receive Christ then and there. Plan to be open to hearing their thoughts, pray about future conversations, and seek counsel from Southbridge Pastors or other faith leaders in your life. But ultimately expect that God will do something through you, even if it’s what He does in you.

  2. It’s important to manage our expectations. Jesus asks us to sow the seed, ultimately the response is up to the recipient.

• Invitation to respond to the Gospel
• Invitation to join a disciple-making relationship (DMR)
• Invitation to join you at Southbridge
• Invitation to connect again for further conversation

Share your gospel conversation so that our team can pray for you, encourage you, and be encouraged.
