Welcome Our New Church Planting Resident

Raleigh is changing. As thousands of people move to our city, the need for healthy, Bible-centered churches is greater than ever. At Southbridge Fellowship, our response to this growth is an "open-handed" approach to ministry: equipping leaders to go out and start new works.

This January marked a milestone in that vision with the arrival of Alex Rodriguez, our new Church Planting Resident.

The residency at Southbridge is designed to be an incubator—a one-to-two-year period where church planters receive equipment, training, and a "long runway" before launching their own independent congregation.

The focus of this new church plant is the growing Latino population in the Triangle. Alex noted that while many have a religious background, there is a significant need for churches that are strictly "Bible-centered or Christ-centered".

Watch the video below to hear Alex's full story and join us in praying for the Rodriguez family as they begin this journey.
