Congratulations to Class of 2026
The final milestone for our family ministry is officially in the books! Yesterday, our church family had the distinct honor and privilege of commissioning our high school seniors.
We use milestones to help parents and children pause, celebrate, and intentionally anchor key seasons of life to God’s work, creating rhythms that reinforce discipleship at home and in the church. This senior commissioning is a beautiful, bittersweet example of that rhythm.
As these students transition into college, trade schools, the workforce, and other post-grad ventures, our role as their church family shifts. They need our prayerful covering now more than ever.
How You Can Pray for Our Seniors
Church, we want to challenge you to keep these graduates in your daily prayers. Here are three specific ways you can pray for them in this new season:
For Roots that Run Deep: Pray that these students will stay steady and grounded in their faith. As they encounter new environments and independent living, pray that the foundation they built here will hold firm and that their relationship with Jesus will grow even stronger.
For Godly Community: Transitions can be lonely. Pray that God places mentors, Christian friends, and vibrant local churches into their lives quickly. Pray that they find a healthy community that encourages them to pursue Christ.
For Clarity and Courage: The post-high school world comes with a lot of big decisions. Pray for clarity as they discover their callings, and pray for the courage to walk through the doors God opens for them.
A Note to Our Graduates
To our graduating class: We are incredibly proud of you. No matter where your next steps take you, remember that you always have a home and a church family right here cheering you on. Go make a difference!

Plug in with Southbridge Students
We want every student (7th – 12th grade) to deepen their understanding of biblical truth, grow in confidence in their walk with Jesus, and learn how to live out their faith in everyday life.
