Looking Back With Gratitude
There’s a lot to be thankful for as we look back on the past year at Southbridge.
From July 2025 through June 2026, we saw God at work across the life of our church as people took steps of faith, served our city, shared the gospel, found community, and invested in the next generation. So why an Annual Report? Because it gives us a chance to pause, look back, and celebrate some of those stories together.
A few highlights from the year include:
- 28 people were baptized, publicly taking a next step in their faith.
- Celebrate Recovery marked 15 years of ministry, reflecting on stories of healing, restored relationships, and freedom in Christ.
- Southbridge Serves returned, giving our church opportunities to serve alongside local partners and across Raleigh.
- Our Christmas Eve Offering reached its $50,000 goal in support of the Raleigh Dream Center food pantry.
- We welcomed Alex Rodriguez as our Church Planting Resident, an important step toward seeing healthy churches planted across the Triangle.
- Building D was completed as part of Phase 1 of our 10-year vision, creating dedicated environments for Middle School and Fifty•Six students.
The report also gives a transparent look at our finances and how we are preparing for the year ahead. While giving declined and expenses exceeded giving this past year, we have already taken steps to reduce expenses, plan around a more conservative giving projection, and move toward positive cash flow while protecting core ministry priorities.
As you read through the report, we hope you’ll take a few minutes to celebrate what God has done, thank Him for His faithfulness, and remember that every number represents people, stories, and opportunities to continue connecting people to Jesus for life change.
